World Series Dreaming/ChiCitySports.com Hat Giveaway Winner!

Once upon a time we had a contest to win the hat you see in the picture.  It’s a bloody sweet hat.  The rules and stuff are in that contest link and the entries (unless you didn’t read the rules, tsk tsk) were set up in this thread.  Let’s see who won!

Based on the Cubs’ June splits and today’s game (which the Cubs won!  Gasp!), here are the results:

Cub with the most hits in June:

Starlin Castro with 29, just barely edging out Alfonso Soriano at 28 and Darwin Barney at 26 (includes his hit from today).  Castro went 0-for today and Soriano had the day off because he hates Wandy Rodriguez.

Cub with the most homers in June:

Alfonso Soriano with 8.  Despite the fact that he’s now an All-Star, Bryan LaHair has become almost a strict platoon player and only had 3 homers on the month, tied with new guy Luis Valbuena.  Even with Soriano’s day off nobody was going to catch up to him.

Cub with the most RBI in June:

Alfonso Soriano again with 18.  Nobody was even close.
