Hello, friends..

Well, with the cheesy Jim Nantz greeting out the way, I just wanted to take a few sentences to introduce myself. My name is Packle, and I am the newest contributor for the World Series Dreaming page.  First of all, it’s a great honor, being asked to contribute to World Series Dreaming and I look forward to interacting with all of my fellow Cubs fans.  Now that the propers out of the way, here is a little background about me.  I guess it should go without saying that I’m a Cubs fan.  However, that being said, I don’t spend much time looking at the Team through red, white and blue glasses. Some of my opinions may not be the most popular, such as I don’t think Jim Hendry’s an idiot. I still think the Soriano signing was worth it and I don’t randomly fall in love with bad players because they seem to try hard or are scrappy (cough, cough Tony Campana). Generally I root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back.   I also like watching good baseball no matter who is playing. That includes the White Sox. While I don’t actively root for the Sox, I don’t hate them like some Cubs fans. Now maybe some of their fans might be a different story.  So that’s a quick glimpse into the mind of a Packle. Once again, I look forward to debating, arguing and at some point in the not to distant future, celebrating a World Series with all of you!
