Brad Ausmus goes to Detroit, thus signaling the end of the world

Tonight, we got some disappointing news:

 

 

It seems Brad Ausmus decided that he’d rather go to a ready-made team than a team that’s being built from the ground up, which we can’t blame him for.  Just about everything I’ve read suggests that he’s a good baseball thinker and a good judge of talent, but hey, the man gets to choose where he wants to go.  Best wishes.

Of course, Cubs twitter has gone berserk, both in regards to the fans and the media.  The end of the world isn’t because Brad Ausmus decided to become a Tiger.  Rather, it’s because of this:

 

 

When Bruce Levine is the voice of reason, then the Apocalypse is nigh.  Prepare yourselves!  REPENT!
