Bleachers About To Open For Business

With the Chicago Cubs out of town working out the kinks against division rivals, the construction crews have been hard at work back home putting the finishing touches on the bleachers and right field video screen.  The bleachers in left field are on track to be open on May 11 as originally promised.  The right field video screen, which the rooftops decided they wouldn’t try to block anymore (not that they could anyway), will most likely be ready for the Cubs’ return home as well.

We got some great news about the new bleachers concession area as well:

Just something to take our minds off the team’s current struggles in St. Louis, but at least the ball park will look great as we wait for all these quality Cubs at-bats to translate into runs.  It’s gonna happen.
