Wednesday Night Cubs Highlight Reel

Tonight’s Chicago Cubs victory against the Cleveland Indians was full of highlights.

We had milestones, like Kyle Schwarber‘s first hit and RBI (he finished with four hits and two runs batted in):

There was defense, like this outfield assist by Chris Coghlan and this beauty by Addison Russell:


There was, of course, plenty of offense, including this slump-buster by Anthony Rizzo:

There was the Cubs knocking out so many pitchers that the Indians had to use TWO position players to pitch (it looked like Ryan Raburn hurt himself, so David Murphy had to get the last out):

And of course, here’s Tsuyoshi Wada being a badass:

Seriously, just click on the “more from this game” tag on Cubs.com and you’ll see plenty to cheer about, including this Kris Bryant grand slam off a position player. It’s a great night to be a Cubs fan.
