While we sit at home watching the Cubs try to win another home series, Anno is enjoying his season tickets at the Friendly Confines. I asked him to snap a few pictures since I won’t likely be there until late May or June at the earliest. Maybe next time he’ll take a longer walk around, but I’m sure he wanted to get in ASAP due to the new metal detectors at every gate. We’ll live vicariously through our Fearless Leader’s camera, then.
Popular jerseys. They have more nooks now, I guess, at least I’ve never noticed inside shops before.Looks like they have a new paint job, looks a bit brighter despite being in the concourse dungeon…Metal detectors, but it doesn’t look as haphazard or cluttered as you might expect.Plenty of room to roam, it seems. The under-construction stairwell for the new West gate, which should be ready for next season.
I think this is going to be the lot where the new hotel will be constructed, now that they’ve taken out the McDonald’s.Watch your head!Still a skeleton.
Looks similar, but not quite, to the old seats.Still working hard on this part.
I guess they figured this looks fine, which I agree with! Can’t blame him for wanting to get into Wrigley ASAP.
Now we wait for the Cubs to win one on a nice day in Chicago.
