The Chicago Cubs are much better than their record against bad teams would suggest, and they gave an old-fashioned ass-whupping to a bad team today as they pummeled the Atlanta Braves 13-2. Bill Murray was at the series all weekend and had a blast, and I’m glad we as Cubs fans did too after dropping the opener. The Cubs got to say goodbye to Turner Field in style, especially since the Braves get a new stadium on the public dime and the Cubs still have to battle with the city of Chicago over how to spend their own money. Governments are weird.
Anyway, baseball was very fun today, and here’s what a good offense looks like:
