Goodbye, Chicago

Okay, folks. Within hours of you guys reading this, I will be traveling west towards California. I’ll do my best to keep listening and following Cubs games on The Score as long as the signal holds, but eventually I will have to let go of that one, too. In addition to all the friends and cool things I’ve interacted with over the past decade-plus, of course. I am glad that we got to experience Chicago one last time, including a Cubs game, before saying our goodbyes.

It won’t be an easy transition, but I am optimistic about our future back in our home state. We will always have a place in our hearts for our home away from home in Chicago, and we will be back eventually. In the meantime, it was fun working with WSD, and I’ll still be around, just in a different time zone and probably not complaining as much about West Coast games because, well, I will be on the West Coast.

It probably wasn’t the smartest idea to plan our move around the trade deadline, but life’s plans don’t always follow an ideal. Check in with us though, someone will be updating the social media and this blog to wrap things up once the dust settles.

Onward, and go Cubs!
